Thea Placida Gyokuro Okabe Tea Bubbles (750 ml) - Lao
$24.95
Unit price / perThea Placida's Gyokuro Okabe is a non-alcoholic sparkling beverage made from Gyokuro green tea grown in Shizuoka, Japan, at an altitude of 200 meters. The tea plants are shade-grown for 20 to 30 days before harvest, a traditional method that promotes the concentration of theanine and develops a silky texture as well as a rich umami flavor.
Its aromatic profile opens with notes of tropical fruits and sweet spices. On the palate, flavors of peach, pear, and honeydew melon are supported by a fine effervescence and balanced acidity. The finish reveals a delicate bitterness reminiscent of a peach pit, adding length and elegance to the tasting experience.
Made in Canada and containing less than 0.5% alcohol by volume, it is designed to accompany meals and is best enjoyed between 8 and 12 °C. It pairs particularly well with red meats, game, and dishes in sauce.
Awarded a gold medal at WAFA 2024, Gyokuro Okabe is presented in a 750 ml glass bottle.
