Made with the same original secret recipe since 1824, the world famous Angostura® aromatic bitters remains the quintessential and definitive ingredient for classic and contemporary cocktails. Its versatility, however, stretches way beyond the bar counter as it serves as a unique flavour enhancer with the ability to marry flavours in the preparation of all food dishes. Angostura® aromatic bitters also adds its unmistakable flavour and aroma to 'soft' beverages and desserts.
Angostura® aromatic bitters is not bitter when added to food and drink, but has the ability to marry flavours. It works by enhancing the flavour of ingredients in food and drink preparations thereby bringing out the best in them without masking their true flavour.
Upon difficulty finding orange bitters to suit his discernible palate, noted spirits reviewer, writer, and former bartender Gary “Gaz” Regan decided to make his own. After spending considerable time trying to come up with a suitable recipe, Gaz entered into a partnership with The Sazerac Company to create his beloved orange bitters. A team of Sazerac scientists worked on the project, and finally after much trial and error (5 other batches in fact) Regans’ Orange Bitters No. 6 was born.
Use your Regans’ Orange Bitters in your classic cocktails, martini’s and food recipes.
Available in 5 oz and 10 oz bottles.
