Pocket Knife No. 8 Folding - Opinel

The Opinel N°08 is a versatile folding knife designed for sports activities, camping, bivouacking, fishing, and hunting. Compact and practical, it comes with an alpine sheath equipped with a loop and a carabiner or a leather lanyard, depending on the version, making it easy to carry daily or outdoors.

Its 8.5 cm blade made of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel is renowned for its excellent sharpness, good hardness, and ease of maintenance. This martensitic stainless steel benefits from heat treatment, providing a high-performance edge while maintaining good corrosion resistance.

The N°08 features the traditional Opinel Yatagan blade, inspired by a Turkish saber with an upturned tip. Its exclusive domed profile contributes to the blade's robustness while facilitating resharpening.

Its beech wood handle from French forests offers a comfortable and resistant grip. The naturally light wood is varnished to improve its protection against humidity and dirt.

The famous Virobloc safety ring, developed by Marcel Opinel in 1955, locks the blade in both the open and closed positions to secure the knife's use and transport.
