The ProHeat® elements are covered in a sheet of mica for even toasting and to protect the wires during use. DO NOT REMOVE - this will damage the toaster. In 2017 RIEDEL is presenting a new edition of some decanters in the Fatto a Mano editions. They feature optical blown glass and a black-white-black ornamental line that enhances their dynamic designs.
