The True Canadian
1 1/2 oz Dillon’s The White Rye (or other rye)
4 dashes Dillon’s DSB Bitters
1 tsp maple syrup
3 oz fresh pressed apple cider
Fill rocks glass with ice. In a cocktail shaker, combine Dillon’s The White Rye, maple syrup, apple cider and bitters. Shake and strain into glass. Garnish with a slice of dried apple and serve.
This cocktail would also be great warmed and served while enjoying a crisp fall day picnic!
Dillon's Mulled Wine
1.5 oz Dillon’s White Rye (or other rye)
4 dashes Dillon’s DSB bitters
5oz mulled apple cider ~ warmed
Mulling spice ~ see recipe below
Fresh apple, sliced
Spices (enough to spice 8-10 cocktails)
1 tablespoon whole allspice
1 tablespoon whole cloves
3 cinnamon sticks
Zest of 1 orange (or orange peel with pith removed)
2 (1/2-inch thick) slices peeled fresh ginger
Stovetop: combine cider and portion Mulling spices in a pot or vessel of choice. Bring to a simmer and keep on low. Combine Dillon’s White Rye and warm cider mixture in your favourite mug or cocktail glass. Garnish with an apple slice and serve.

- 1.5 oz vodka
- 1 tsp sugar
- 6-8 dashes The Bitter Housewife Lime-Coriander bitters
- 4 oz ginger beer
- Wedge of lime
Combine vodka and bitters in a collins glass. Add ice, top with ginger beer and stir. Garnish with a squeeze of lime and enjoy!

Best Frond Forever
1 1/2 oz Dillon’s Unfiltered Gin 22 (or other gin)
4 sage leaves
Small pinch of coarse salt
1/2 oz Green Chartreuse
4 dashes Dillon’s Wormwood Bitters
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz lemon syrup
1 (2 inch) piece of fennel (stalk only)
Fennel frond or sage leaf for garnish
In a large shaker, muddle fresh fennel, sage leaves and salt until it becomes fragrant and pulpy. Add Dillon’s Unfiltered Gin 22, Chartreuse, lemon juice, bitters and syrup. Stir. Fill shaker with ice & shake until well chilled. Double strain into a vintage coupe glass. Garnish with frond and sage leaf.
