Made using peppers from our own gardens; hot banana, scotch bonnet, super chili & cherry bomb. Combined with the fragrant and spicy aroma of red peppercorns and long pepper plus the tartness of lemon give the perfect complement to a Caesar or Bloody Mary or the perfect amount of spice and background heat to some fruit-based cocktail.

RECIPES (from Dillon's)

Blood orange French 75
1 oz Dillon’s Unfiltered Gin 22 (or other gin)
3 oz Blood Orange Puree
3 dashes Dillon’s Ginger Bitters
¼ oz Simple syrup
Sparkling Wine

Combine Dillon’s Unfiltered Gin 22, Blood Orange Puree, and simple syrup. Top with sparkling wine and enjoy.

Lavender Bee's knees
2 oz Dillon’s Unfiltered Gin 22 (or other gin)
3 dashes Dillon’s Ginger Bitters
2 dashes Dillon’s Ginseng Bitters
1 oz fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz lavender honey syrup (instructions below)
Sprig of lavender, for garnish

In a cocktail shaker, combine the Dillon’s Unfiltered Gin 22, lemon juice, bitters and simple syrup. Shake over ice and strain into your glass of choice. Garnish with sprig of lavender.

Lavender and honey simple syrup
1/4 cup honey
1/8 cup water
1 tsp dried lavender
Combine the honey, water, and lavender in a saucepan over low heat. When it reaches a boil, remove from heat and let sit for 30 minutes. Strain into a jar and store in the refrigerator until use. This makes enough for only one cocktail so increase the volumes if creating for a whole group!

Honey Rye Lemonade
1.5 oz Dillon’s The White Rye (or other rye)
3 dashes Dillon’s Lemon Bitters
0.5 oz honey simple syrup (1:1 water and honey mix)
Freshly squeezed lemonade
Fresh lemon
Ice

Over ice combine the rye, bitters, and honey simple syrup in a rocks glass. Top with lemonade. Garnish with a slice of lemon.

Gin & Tonic
1.5oz Dillon’s Unfiltered Gin 22 (or other gin)
A few dashes of Dillon’s Bitter Lemon
Tonic Water
Fresh Lemon or Lime wedge

Fill short glass with ice. Combine gin, bitter & Tonic Water. Garnish with a wedge of lemon or lime, your choice.

This is the signature flavor and was designed specifically to enhance an Old Fashioned with the flavors of walnuts, cherries, ginger, and warm baking spices, plus just enough bitterness to keep things interesting. Old Fashioned Bitter Housewife
- 1.5 oz bourbon
- 1 tsp The Bitter Housewife Bitters
- 1 tsp sugar
- Orange wedge
- Brandied cherry
- Generous splash of soda water

Muddle orange, cherry, bitters and sugar in an old fashioned glass. Pour in bourbon and soda. Add ice, stir and enjoy.

Champagne cocktail
- 4 oz Champagne
- Sugar cube
- 6 dashes The Bitter Housewife Aromatic Bitters
- Lemon peel

Place sugar cube into champagne flute, soak with bitters, fill glass with Champagne and garnish with a twist of lemon peel.

Best Frond Forever
1 1/2 oz Dillon’s Unfiltered Gin 22 (or other gin)
4 sage leaves
Small pinch of coarse salt
1/2 oz Green Chartreuse
4 dashes Dillon’s Wormwood Bitters
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz lemon syrup
1 (2 inch) piece of fennel (stalk only)
Fennel frond or sage leaf for garnish

In a large shaker, muddle fresh fennel, sage leaves and salt until it becomes fragrant and pulpy. Add Dillon’s Unfiltered Gin 22, Chartreuse, lemon juice, bitters and syrup. Stir. Fill shaker with ice & shake until well chilled. Double strain into a vintage coupe glass. Garnish with frond and sage leaf.

Add bourbon and ice. Top with soda and stir. *Rich syrup is 2 parts sugar to 1 part water simmered till the sugar dissolves.
