Originally created by 9th generation Claus J. Riedel as one of the first "wine-friendly" glasses, this generously sized bowl allows the bouquet to fully develop, while smoothing out the wine’s rough edges. The shape enhances fruit notes, minimizes bitterness from tannins, and creates harmony in structured red wines.

This sophisticated glass features a black crystal stem and a clear crystal base, combining both functionality and elegant aesthetics.

Introduced in 2008, the Sommeliers Black Tie collection marked the 50th anniversary of RIEDEL's iconic Sommeliers series. The red wine glasses in this collection stand out with their tall black stem and clear base, while the white wine glasses feature the reverse—a black base with a tall clear stem.
