Ecofees are the management costs applied to the sale of a product in order to finance the recovery and reclamation activities listed in the Quebec Regulation respecting the recovery and reclamation of products by enterprises.

Since 2022, an ecofee is added to the total price during the sale of refrigeration and air conditioning appliances.
