Each decanter is a unique piece, handcrafted and mouth blown in Kufstein.

In 2017, RIEDEL is presenting a new edition of some decanters in the Fatto a Mano editions. They feature optical blown glass and a black-white-black ornamental line that enhances their dynamic designs. The art of optically blown glass originated in Venice, the cradle of the most superior glassblowing techniques. Nowadays there are not many glass blowers who are proficient in this method. During his training in Murano, Maximilian RIEDEL was so fascinated by this technique, that he now uses it for special pieces in his collections.

The Amadeo Performance decanter was introduced to complement the Riedel Performance series. With this iconic shape reimagined in optical blown glass, this decanter features a colourful line in the collection's signature bright green.

The Amadeo was launched in 2006 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Riedel. Effortless and pleasurable to use, the Amadeo decanter is a reminder that functional objects can be works of art. This decanter is designed for a single bottle of wine.
