AROMABAR OF OAKED WINE SCENTS
The small oak barrel helps red wine, as well as some white wines, to develop additional aromas and tannins. It makes the wines more complex and tenable. The aromas that develop in oak barrels include notes of vanilla and liquorice, as well as roasted aromas such as coffee, toast, caramel and chocolate. The most tenable and noble wines all develop ´en barrique´. In 2017 RIEDEL is presenting a new edition of some decanters in the Fatto a Mano editions. They feature optical blown glass and a black-white-black ornamental line that enhances their dynamic designs. The art of optically blown glass originated in Venice, the cradle of the most superior glassblowing techniques. Nowadays there are not many glass blowers who are proficient in this method. During his training in Murano, Maximilian RIEDEL was so fascinated by this technique, that he now uses it for special pieces in his collections.

1 oz Cointreau
½ oz of Coffee Cardamom Syrup Les Charlatans
½ lime juice
Pour over ice in a lowball glass type. Garnish with a slice of lime.
Pimped Rhum&Coke
2 oz of spiced rum (Chic chock)
1/2 oz of coffee & cardamom syrup Les Charlatans
1/4 oz of lime juice
4 dashes of a nut bitters (like Fee Brothers' black walnut bitters)
Method: Mix with crushed ice and add top with coke in a old fashioned or lowball glass.
