Maximilian J. Riedel (11th generation) of the family business founded in 1756
Maximilian Josef Riedel (born in Vienna, Austria, 1977) is the 11th generation Riedel and the CEO of Riedel Crystal of America, a branch of glassmakers who in the 1950s introduced the concept of wine glasses specific to each grape variety.

RIEDEL Veloce is an impressive development based on cutting-edge technology from the RIEDEL factory in Weiden, Germany. RIEDEL wine glasses are developed in the workshop in different shapes and sizes for specific grape varieties. Only such advanced machine production can guarantee such precise glass design language, in harmony with the respective profile of the grape variety.
