A bright, slightly floral bitters packed full of fresh grapefruit flavor. Use it to add new life to a classic gin and tonic or pair it with an aperitif like Lillet, St. Germain, or sparkling wine.
The Bitter Housewife bitters are small-batch, hand crafted cocktail bitters made in Portland, Oregon. Each flavor is made with all real ingredients, never extracts or flavorings, to make cocktails better.

The Mrs.
– 3 oz Lillet Blanc
– 3 oz soda water
– 1 tsp. The Bitter Housewife Grapefruit Bitters
Pour all ingredients into a wine glass. Stir and enjoy!
Hoppy Housewife
1.5 oz gin
3 oz full bodied IPA
1 tsp The Bitter Housewife Grapefruit Bitters
1 tsp simple syrup
Pour gin, bitters, and simple syrup in an old fashioned glass, stir, fill with ice and top with IPA.
Company’s Coming
– 1.5 oz bourbon
– 0.75 oz rich syrup*
– 0.75 oz grapefruit juice
– 1 tsp The Bitter Housewife Grapefruit Bitters
– 10 mint leaves
– 4 oz soda water
Muddle mint leaves with the rich syrup, grapefruit juice, and bitters in a collins glass. Add bourbon and ice. Top with soda and stir.
*Rich syrup is 2 parts sugar to 1 part water simmered till the sugar dissolves.
