Les Charlatans is a montreal-based maker of natural syrups, no preservatives, artificial colours or flavours.
RECIPES (Les Charlatans)
Arbol Negrita
1 1/2 oz tequila
3/4 oz chile & tonka syrup
1 oz lemon juice
1 1/2 fresh pineapple juice
3 dashes Angostura
Method: Mix all ingredients in a shaker. Serve in an old fashioned glass.
Garnish: with a thai basil leaf.
Andie Sour
3/4 oz Pisco
3/4 oz Chartreuse
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz Chile & Tonka syrup Les Charlatans
1 egg white
3 dashes of lavander bitters (Bob’s Bitters for example)
Spicy Amaretto Sour
1 egg white
1 oz Amaretto
3/4 oz de lemon juice
1/2 oz de Chile & Tonka syrup Les Charlatans
Method: Moisten the rim of a highball or old fashioned glass with a lemon wedge. Combine ingredients in a shaker without ice and shake vigorously for a few seconds. Add ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain into glass.
